Tech internship – Scilab Scientific Demos

Scilab Enterprises is an innovative company specialized in developing & maintaining the Scilab open-source software and providing associated services. Scilab is a widely used modeling and simulation software installed every month by 100,000 engineers and scientists worldwide.

Based on an open-source business model, we offer our clients services for their scientific and engineering projects (consulting, specific developments, migration & deployment, support, training) and a Scilab Cloud offering for scientific application deployment.

In the course of our work on Scilab, we are looking for a super-motivated intern.

The internship

The objective is to improve the existing scientific and engineering demonstrations in Scilab by clarifying the physical context, better presenting the results and bringing overall consistency, in a nutshell making them more user-friendly for our users worldwide.

You are expected to research the subjects you’re not familiar with in order to provide scientific background for the demos, which cover a broad range of domains.

Ideally, you will also provide new relevant demonstrations related to numerical science use cases.

Should you finish your work early, you will have the opportunity to add scientific content to Scilab and Xcos (tutorials, functionalities, documentation).


The main skills you will need are Scilab, scientific knowledge, French & English. Git is a plus (for our workflow).

Curious & rigorous, you have good writing & relational skills and can work autonomously.


Full-time agreed internship for 3 to 6 months.

Based in Versailles (78) (accessible from Paris by public transportation), on-site restaurant, 50% transportation cost refund in Ile-de-France.
